JOINT REFLECTION of the HCR on PJV
On Sunday, May 7, we were summoned, from any HCR community in the world, to a "joint reflection" on Vocational Youth Ministry. The meeting was scheduled at two complementary parts.
At first, after praying contemplating the reality of young people, placing our intention in look at them as God looks at them, together we listened to some fragments taken from various articles or presentations from JMR. Olaizola, sj, I.Dinnbier, sj, Luis Manuel Suárez, cmf and Olalla Rodríguez, lay-mrcc, introduced by some words of Pope Francis: "Our mission is to evangelize, not to proselytize." After each author, we extracted, among all, important keys to take into account for the understanding and practice of our Vocational Youth Ministry, in order to be able to synthesize them later in the 10 conclusions that are detailed below in the photo carousel and that we can also see in:
Here we can listen to the fragments that inspired the reflection:
In a second moment, inspired by what was shared in the first part, we set out to remember through some images and the interventions of the sisters present, the experience lived by some communities that had had vocational dinners in their homes, with different formats, ages and resonances... Here is a summary video:
Those who had not yet been able to put the proposal into practice were encouraged to carry it out in the coming days and we all remind ourselves that it is not necessary to set up large activities to get a little closer to young people, since what is natural and simple is a direct bridge that can lead us to deep and pleasant conversations with many of them.
