Our journey as Daughters of Christ the King has its beginning in the charismatic experience of D. José Gras and Granollers, and this foundational force is the one that envelops and covers the entire journey of the Institute, leaving its mark on the history of more than a century.
In fidelity to that charism that was given to us, with the passion of a love for Christ that burns our soul, our only desire is to make his Reign present among men, and this love makes us able to give our lives, so that the world feels its sweet Sovereignty of love, peace, grace and full life. Women rooted in Christ, King and Lord.
Our fraternal life in community, whose center is Christ, wants to be an alternative to a world wounded by loneliness and an announcement of the new humanity restored in Christ. JESUS CHRIST IS KING, YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER. This nuclear truth of our charism will be and is always current. Today, there are some challenges that are "thrown at us": The hunger for transcendence of today's man.
- The unjust and inhuman situations of many peoples.
- A world that excludes the weakest, needy and voiceless, and that needs open hearts of tenderness, closeness and mercy.
- The need for promotion, culture and integral development of many men.
- The lack of values and authentic faith in our world.
