“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and have dinner with him and he with me.” Apoc 3;20
Neither more nor less, Lord, your word became a reality in a group of children from Ukraine who, in the midst of pain and suffering, received the gift of “A Breath of Hope” project promoted by Antonio Funes, father of a student from Jaén. And as this evangelical quote says, in response to Antonio's request to the Community of Villanueva del Arzobispo (Jaén) to stay with us in Madrid, we prepared dinner, breakfast and accommodation in our community of Santa Úrsula, thinking Lord that in each of those little ones you were waiting for us, smiling at us and thanking us for opening the doors, not only of the house, but of each heart.
The sisters of the community and other people who also joined the group often expressed the joy of this experience. Furthermore, Lord,
We were able to share with Sister Victoria, Servant of Jesus, from the Children's Orphanage, the strength of faith and dedication beyond the language and violence of a war.
Lord, we want Peace and we want to live in peace and now that we know faces and names we know that only You can bring that peace that the world longs for.
