“Look at the other brothers with the eyes of Jesus.”
For the young people of the Cristo Rey Apostolic Movement, the spiritual identity of knowing the reality of other people is important, being missionaries of the gospel, showing in the surroundings of the town of El Carmen how they see their realities, people who need to hear the Word of God, seeing some have neglected their spirituality, others share different beliefs, and people who have had an encounter with Christ, but have been immersed in the world, being parts of the world. On Saturday we try to be a church going out and we have highlighted each of those needs, we know that there is little we can do, but it is also our mission, to repair the kingdom together with the hand of the gospel, to be repairers of love in the kingdom of heaven, to go out to meet our brothers who also need us to be able to find hope in their lives.
“Be salt and light of the world” (Mt 5; 13-16).
Once a month we want to live this pillar of the Movement, the Mission, and feel what our brothers experience "next door" and wanting to be a visible presence of the face of Christ and his Kingdom.
