Between February 10 and 12, 2023, three hundred people mobilized to participate in the annual meeting organized by the Christ the King Apostolic Movement in Spain. This year the gatherings of the Movement's youngest have been parallel in two locations: El Carballo (La Coruña) and Villanueva del Arzobispo (Jaén). Friends, Discoverers and young Builders from Albuñol, Alcalá la Real, Benifaiò, Ferrol, Granada, Jaén, Seville, Talarrubias and Villanueva del Arzobispo met in two municipalities.
Given the call to fraternity that Pope Francis makes to us in his latest encyclical on social friendship, the laity of Cristo Rey wanted to reflect and delve deeper into our role in today's society. "In this world that runs without a common direction" the MAR is convinced that a new humanity is possible and that is why we are committed to caring for the common Home, the value of each human being and the reduction of social injustice. There have been workshops, dynamics, deserts, gymkhanas... intense days in which the playful, the human and the spiritual intertwine to achieve a strong commitment to transforming the world into a fairer, more fraternal and more humane place.
Now again in the particular realities, children, adolescents and young people already have their hearts set on “Essentials” and “For them” the camps and the work camp next summer.
