The Meeting on Sunday, February 12, 2023, has been very fruitful on a personal level. Starting by capturing in a drawing and with words (like a calligram) what our relationship with God is like, putting it down on paper has helped me to be more aware of what I have and how I feel and how I feel Him in my life, sharing among all, knowing that there are many of us who have the privilege of finding Him and feeling Him. Being able to listen to Dani, who on this occasion guided the PJVHCR meeting, tell what her journey of faith has been like, has led me to remember mine and identify with it in many aspects.
Living our faith involves going through many situations, some of which make us feel at the top of our relationship with God and others that lead us to see that perhaps we have to start over, but something is certain, even if we sometimes doubt. He is still there even if it is difficult for us to hear it, even if it is difficult for us to feel it.
Discerning our path away from God makes it more difficult to find our way when we feel lost. As they said at the end of the meeting: prayer and being able to see Jesus in others and in ourselves, as well as sharing it with someone, will help us live the process.
In short, I hope that, like me, this meeting has been enriching for those who have participated and that there are opportunities for many more to join in living these beautiful experiences.
May Christ the King of our lives continue to find us with an open heart and ready to receive him.
