On the morning of Saturday, September 19, we “met” via zoom 50 sisters from Spain who have some kind of collaboration in Parish Ministry to reflect on the pastoral approach of this course. We began by presenting the motto and objective that make up this approach followed by a prayer in which we were able to contemplate Jesus "putting more heart in each encounter to feel that the secret force of the Kingdom is in the small " and we join the words of José Gras feeling the quality of his personal meeting who was he with your King, your Friend, your Guide, your Father, your protector and teacher ...
After our introduction, which placed us on the topic of the morning, Pedro Cabrera, cmf, was reeling off the objective in four words (heart, encounter, kingdom, little) preceded by a + sign, from which he invited us not to settle for the normal, and not to fall into apathy, reluctance or spiritual and apostolic anemia, since we have not been called to do so, but to give our lives with vitality and energy in the mission.
Time was short, and other spaces were missed to be able to share more with each other, although, on the other hand, many sisters have valued the possibility of the whole community being in the meeting. In the evaluation that the participants have been sending, as well as in our own notes, some ideas that helped and resonated in our hearts as apostles stand out:
- The parish is an enclave of the Kingdom, and we can manifest it from our presence in it as consecrated women.
- Put more heart and place every day ours in God's, to act like Jesus.
- With our testimony, we can make the Parish a network that generates Trust and Hope. Faced with criticism and comments, we can be the heart of a mother who goes out to meet, welcomes, listens ...
- The Kingdom is built with small details, Jesus made us realize this. Practice the art of closeness to feel the Kingdom in everyday life, because Evangelization has an inseparable link with the quality of human relationships. Make it life in the community, parish and Home School ...
- From something as small as loaves and fishes…, Jesus is able to feed a multitude…, the Kingdom is life abundant, party, banquet that springs from small gestures full of love.
- The opposite of love it's not hate but indifference.
