NIANING JULY 1-4, 2022
On June 30, a group of Daughters of Christ the King went to the house in Nianing to clean the premises, they had to struggle with some setbacks, such as the lack of water for two days, but the reason they were there gave them strength for everything.
On July 1, the young women from Dakar, Kaffrine, Kaolack and Mbour arrived. In total 31 girls and 7 nuns, of which one was in charge of the kitchen, helped by 2 youth workers.
THE TOPICS discussed were: “HE CALLS YOU, GET UP” AND “GET UP AND DO GOOD” Accompanied by several texts of writing such as the blind Bartimaeus and the Good Samaritan.
An atmosphere of prayer, reflection, work, brotherhood and joy was created.
In the end they were all happy and sad to leave and have to separate. It was worth the effort.
