On the weekend of May 6-7, a celebration full of emotion, faith and gratitude to the Lord was experienced in the Community of Alcalá la Real. These sisters have almost just arrived due to the new transfer and the community dedicated themselves to details and preparations for this great party. With great joy we gather to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Eva and the Golden Jubilee of our sister Ana, Daughters of Christ the King, who have known how to give their lives with generosity, simplicity and fidelity to the service of Christ and their brothers.
The Eucharist was the center and culmination of the party. Around the altar, the community was filled with festive spirit and prayer, offering sincere thanksgiving for the consecrated life of these two sisters, a luminous testimony that following Jesus is worth it. The Eucharist was prepared by the brothers and nephews and with great care, since the readings, the offerings and the gestures of affection made the presence of God palpable, along with the songs of the Reborn in Mary Choir, to which Eva's parents belong, who accompanied each moment with beauty and depth, and helped us to pray and live the celebration more deeply.
Eva, with the freshness of her 25 years of dedication, and Ana, with the depth of her 50 years of journey, are for all of us a sign of fidelity and hope. Their lives, intertwined with the mission of the Daughters of Christ the King, remind us that the charisma received from Ven. José Gras continues to bear fruit in the Church and in the world.
The day continued in a fraternal and joyful atmosphere, where family, friends and religious sisters shared a simple but loving meeting. Between hugs, memories and words of gratitude, it became visible that God's love is also realized in closeness and in the communion of hearts.
Today we give thanks for this fruitful time, for the faithfulness of Eva and Ana, and for the beautiful celebration we have experienced together. May their testimony continue to encourage new vocations and remind us all that life, when given for love, becomes a true celebration of the Kingdom.
