On Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. in Madrid, the sisters who will make up the assembly of the XXIII General Chapter, next July, had their first meeting in a virtual context. The meeting, convened by the General Government, had as its main objective, to study together the draft that, after the studies of the communities, the Commission that has coordinated the review of the Constitutions and Directory had prepared and that had previously been sent to each one. of the sisters. After the explanation of the process, lived as an Institute, in these years of study, the contributions that the sisters had made after reviewing this draft sent were analyzed and clarified. In an environment that allowed us to share and help each other clarify, we were discerning and delving into the different lights, facing possible consensus. We consumed the time of the call and the Mother General asked us for a little more, concluding at 9 p.m., grateful for feeling like sister seekers of this beautiful will of God, while we prepared to celebrate the 148 years of life of our Institute.
