From Bollullos par del Condado (Huelva), a group of 40 pilgrims, visited the mother house of the Daughters of Christ the King in Granada, on March 13, 14 and 15, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Foundation of the Institute.
In that meeting with Father Gras, in the house that gave rise to his project, as well as the House Museum and the Crypt, where his remains rest, the bollulleros, we were able to share the prayers, emotions and experiences of a man who knew how to draw from Agramunt, the divine designs to show the world the Kingship of Christ.
They were intimate days of encounter with God and the Immaculate Virgin, where we were able to experience the closeness of the charisma of Father Gras, rediscovering his message of love for our brother and exaltation of the royalty of Christ in the world.
We live with the sisters, residents there. We share with them and vibrate with them in the love of Christ the King of the universe. They were three intense and intimate days, where the Eucharist served as a sacrament and at the same time as food for the soul, making with its adoration the batteries of our faith and our good work for the spread of the Kingdom recharged.
Thank the Sister Superior, Ángeles Carámbano, for the itinerary and explanation, in the visit to the House - Museum of Father Gras, who, with her word and her passion, brought us closer to the human and priestly work of the Father, as well as to the remaining sisters of the community, who gave us so many signs of closeness, humanity and affection.
We left there, with our souls filled with emotions, with a renewed spirit and willing to promote and propagate the idea of the Founding Father throughout our town of Bollullos and throughout the Condado de Huelva region. Thank you, Daughters of Christ the King, for your work and for your charismatic “way of being.” May these 150 years of your institution be a leaven of Christian life and sustenance for the soul in need of Christ, King and Lord of our lives.
From Bollullos par del Condado, we can only say on this 150th anniversary that…
Long live Christ the King!
