Between July 2 and 5, around twenty Builders and Communities of the Kingdom have gathered on the outskirts of the city of Jaén under the motto “Reunion around your table” in days of formation, reflection and prayer around the “Sacrament of the sacraments”, as José Gras wrote.
After more than a year without carrying out any interlocal activities in person, the members of the MAR have delved into the meaning of the Eucharist from a biblical, sacramental and charismatic perspective. Throughout the days there have been moments of personal reflection, group dynamics and gymkhanas, workshops in which they have kneaded bread and tasted the wine of joy. Without a doubt, the most special moments of the meeting have been the adoration of the Lord and the celebration of a fraternal and endearing Eucharist in a wonderful natural environment.
It is the first national meeting of the Movement since Ferrol, Madrid and Talarrubias were integrated into what until then was called the Andalusia-Valencia Zone on March 19, 2021. With this meeting the 2020-21 pastoral course ends in which we have put more heart into the encounter with ourselves, with others and with our Lord and King. The Movement in Spain will resume its activity on September 2 with the IV Meeting of Councils that will begin the 2021-22 pastoral year with the desire to love, seek, care and awaken.
