“Let us dream as a single humanity, as walkers of the same human flesh, as children of this same earth that shelters us all, each one with the richness of his faith or of his convictions, each one with his own voice, all brothers"(Brothers All, 8)
The Church, attentive to the signs of the times and faithful to the spirit of Jesus and the Gospel invites us always to put our eyes and our hearts on the side of the human family, on the side of those who need us, ultimately, our neighbor to that we recognize, in their faces, the face of God who calls us to feel ourselves
brothers.
From this feeling, the Daughters of Christ the King have ceded our house in Las Palmas to the Canaria Main Foundation, driven and promoted by the Salesians. It is one way, among others, to promote inter-congregationality and to continue collaborating with "the calls made to us by our brothers in the greatest situation of vulnerability and risk", as the XXII General Chapter has asked us to do.
This Foundation carries out a Project that includes workshops and orientation, reception and promotion activities for the socio-labor insertion of young people in situations of social exclusion. We offer them the house and, above all, our prayers for them and for the members of the Main Foundation so that this work of good will bear abundant fruit.
