When does the night end and the day begin? The wise man answered – “When you look at a man's face and recognize your brother in him, if you are not capable of this, then whatever time it is it is still night. (A. de Mello)
The pastoral motto “WITH YOU” is a message that the Lord Jesus sends us to begin this new Pastoral Course 2023-24 and to be able to recognize as a brother every person who “it is our turn” to meet to work, listen, laugh, cry, accompany, educate. , evangelize, share…
This morning it was presented to the communities and lay people dedicated to the Parish Pastoral presence of Spain, and many other sisters who have participated from the University Residences and other communities.
Sister Rocío Pérez de Ayala, HCR began the meeting with a prayer in which the desire to continue feeling in our hearts that “I am always with you” that the Lord directs us with as much strength as he is close, presenting, below, the Pastoral Approach of this course, from the motto to each of the sections of the objective: With you, recognize your Kingdom, interpret its signs and choose you. From there, Fr. Pedro Cabrera, cmf. has continued to deepen the focus, encouraging us to incorporate more into our relationships and conversations 3G: GRATITUDE, GRATITUITY AND THANK YOU. 3 key words that will help us interpret the signs of the Kingdom that surround us, which “They are as if hidden, although they are not inaccessible “.
He also called us to pay attention to the virus of 3 C that can be installed in our hearts: COMPARE, COMPETE AND CRITICIZE. Three realities that can harm us, not allowing us to recognize the signs of the King on our path but that have the antidote of VALUE, COOPERATE, AND GRATEFUL that will transform reality, filling every relationship with light and content.
To conclude, the3 P They became the necessary and priority means in our daily lives: the BREAD of the EUCHARIST, which nourishes our life and in which we RECOGNIZE it by sharing it with “a hungry and wounded multitude”; FORGIVENESS that recognizes his fragility and smallness and approaches his brother "renouncing the destructive force of resentment, hatred and resentment" to interpret the sign of the wheat in the midst of the tares and the PERFUME with which we are CHOOSING it by pouring it out, and that impregnates the house with the good smell of Christ, "exquisite smell" that pleases and makes everyone around feel good.
Words that become attitudes that we thank and ask from the only one who is the driving force of our mission, who sends us, CHRIST THE KING, who awaits our response, WITH YOU!
I feel very grateful to my Institute for having been able to participate an entire Saturday morning in this Conference via zoom, belonging to the community of El Carmen (Ecuador) and finding myself in Spain on this day. THANK YOU !
María del Carmen Cucharero García, HCR
“One morning inside I heard: “Stop”, he recognizes his Kingdom that is very close. I think about it...and I felt: stop, enter your heart. “Listen to me”: your King speaks to you, who asks you and gives you wishes, so that you seek me more, love me more, and always carry me in your heart. Choose me and don't abandon me anymore. I love you since ever. Do not be afraid. "I'm always with you".
Echo of Mª Isabel Gómez, HCR after the Parish Pastoral Day
