The Mother General invited us these days to continue on our way as an Institute, participating with generosity in the life of the Church that calls us to be signs of hope in the midst of so many brothers who suffer throughout the world.
From the Pastoral Social Team, we endorse this proposal to join the Celebration of the World Day of Migrants and Refugees the next September 27 in which the Pope invites us to keep in mind the internal migrants, those brothers of ours whom we know very closely because they knock on our doors or live among us, because: “The internally displaced offer us this opportunity to meet the Lord, "even if it is difficult for our eyes to recognize him: with torn clothes, with dirty feet, with deformed faces, with bruised bodies, unable to speak our language" (Homily, February 15, 2019).
M. General has also expressed her wish that we allow ourselves to be questioned by the message of Pope Francis for the 106th World Day of Migrants and Refugee 2020 that we attach in this news item, which expresses the challenge posed in our lives by "six pairs" of verbs that refer to very specific actions, linked to each other in a cause-effect relationship.: Know to understand, become a neighbor to serve, listen to reconcile, share to grow, involve to promote, collaborate to build.

May this day sensitize us as a Cristo Rey family not to miss any opportunity that comes our way to get closer, with more heart, before this reality that cries out before our eyes.
