2ND HIGH SCHOOL- JAÉN
At the end of the term, the 2nd year Baccalaureate students of Jaén had a morning of coexistence taking advantage of the visit to the “charismatic places”, accompanied by their tutors and the Religion department. During the morning they rotated in small groups through activities including reflection on “the horizon of your life”, around the vinyl in the living room, prayer in the crypt, a visit to the House-Museum of “a man of great ideals”, a visit to the older sisters and a Scape Room in which they had to decrypt José Gras' message. A full day that everyone appreciated in the subsequent evaluation.
We leave here some of their conclusions in the evaluation:
- I found it to be a very interesting activity, and above all very focused on our age, that made it quite dynamic and allowed us to reflect on a useful topic for us. The organization at different times also meant that there were times for everything.
- From my point of view, this experience was much more dynamic and entertaining than other possible options and gave us time to reflect, collaborate with other colleagues and, most importantly, learn more about the life of José Gras (apart from connecting with God).
- I really liked the visit, especially because of the coexistence we had among all of us. A very good atmosphere was created, and I am very glad that I did not leave school without visiting it.
- It seems to me that it has been an outlet that we needed, since it has helped us clear up the tension held during the quarter and at the same time we have also been able to have periods of time where we have reflected and delved deeper into ourselves.
- I found the day super useful since we were able to learn more about the founder of our school in a more dynamic and fun way. As for the organization, I saw it as quite well organized.
- Very good work from both the teachers for the organization and this series of different activities and from the sisters who lived there for the welcoming atmosphere.
- The morning was very entertaining and the most important thing is that thanks to that experience I increased my knowledge about Father Gras and I had a great time with my classmates.
- In general, the good planning of the day made the visit not only organized and informative, but also enjoyable and fun. I am especially grateful for having participated this last year, because I have gotten to know José Gras better and I have always been at school since I was 3 years old.
