With everything ❤ we get this beautiful review of what we experienced during these holidays... thank you.
CHRIST QUEEN
Like every year, when this date arrives, we look forward to the great festivity of Christ the King. Festival in which the entire religious and educational community makes itself available to achieve a single objective: to thank, honor and celebrate our King.
The school becomes something magical. Academic work, for a few days, becomes musicality, creativity, joy, illusion, commitment, dedication, generosity, humanity, coexistence...
Restless students, commotion in the corridors, nerves, dynamism, fresh sensations... The students, once again, are infected by that happy atmosphere and that good work so that our beloved Rey be proud of them as we are of HIM.
The proclamation that characterizes this festivity, by the 2nd ESO students, has been made up of a group of wonderful reporters who With + ❤ we have been invited to look, listen and feel through a screen, humanizing her, as far as possible; to replace that human contact and that community experience so decisive in our educational work and in this festivity.
We start the week dedicating, all the courses, part of the morning to the Catechesis of Christ the King. The afternoon was for families and friends, together with the nuns they were able to start this very special week with the Triduum to Cristo Rey. This year due to the capacity restriction it was in the parish. Parish that hosted, like every year, the celebration of the Renewal of Vows of the Daughters of Christ the King, accompanied this year by a small representation of the entire Educational Community.
These are days of mixed feelings, at the time of WorshipOn the one hand, the little ones discover and begin to participate in the presence of Jesus in his life and, on the other hand, the 4th ESO students who feel how that little time of encounter with HIM, this festival of Christ the King, It will become an unforgettable experience forever in your memory and heart for everything lived and shared. Sentiment shared and extrapolated, equally, to our endearing "Missionary Raffle" meeting place and room for illusion, surprise, joy, generosity, solidarity...
A Christ the King different in form, but not in essence, that we will all remember; but from which we have also learned. It is they, their names, their looks, their caresses and hugs, the tones of their words and their silences, which symbolize and testify to everything lived during this Christ the King.
In this profession everything goes through the heart: Educating is an act of love. Everything that has been done has been done with the same feeling that invades the hearts of all of us who belong to this community of Daughters of Christ the King.
We have to be grateful for all the good things we have experienced and the opportunity we have to continue learning.
Quoting the words of Mother Angels: “Despite the difficult times that we live, He has the last word. A word of hope, reconciliation, mercy, forgiveness. He is always with us."
