During the year 2022, three formative meetings have been held for sisters who are in the "midst of life". The first was held in Garín (Argentina), from March 26 to 28; the second in Pueblo Libre (Peru), from October 28 to 31; the third in San Gregorio (Spain), from December 3 to 6. We publish below the testimony of two of the participating sisters.
Christ reigns
On October 28 to 31, 2022, we were summoned by the General Government to the formation meeting in Lima. From the very beginning, in the opening prayer, we delved into the meaning of our Consecration and the need to "brighten it up", we became aware of the years of our dedication to the Lord, going through his loving call one day, with our dreams , illusions, hopes and desires to be more faithful to him every day.
With the help of some reflection documents we were able to verify our weaknesses and limitations, as well as the invitation to want to "brighten our consecration" after so many years devoted to the Lord; It was a wealth to share, listen to each other, speak from the heart, with respect and charity, noting our frailties and above all feeling loved just as we are.
The activity we carried out to polish (clean) our alliance (ring) was very emotional and profound, where we realized that it needed to be rubbed many times to maintain its initial "shine", even our alliance had some scratches or marks from the years of use... how much truth to confront the path traveled and everything we need to shine our consecration today.
Next, we review the necessary process that the jeweler needs to be able to obtain our "alliance": processed, melted, refined and sealed... we share each of these facets, adapting it to our personal and community realities, where we rediscover that "not everything is gold" ; we are clay called to allow ourselves to be processed by our King, that from what we are we are called to merge into one heart and one soul, urgently called to feel like a sister to the other because we share the richness of a CHARISM, bearing the seal of Daughters of Christ the King.
Thank you Lord for sharing during these days, thanks to our Institute for giving us this opportunity to share these moments of formation and thanks also to Sr. Rocío Ortíz because it was a “bridge” to meet again with the God who wants to keep our “alliance” “shine” and for helping us to say “I know who I am…”. Thank you!!!

Christ reigns
Our Mother General welcomes us and presents the objective of the formative meeting: "Means that help us to renew fraternity, desire, consecration." A key question: How are we living our consecration? An affirmation: We find ourselves sisters who share a stage of life, feeling identified with each other by what it brings with it, but above all the desire to make Christ reign, to walk guided by his Word and by the charism that summons us.
Next the Hna. Fátima Falcón takes us through the possible symptoms that we experience in this stage of realism. On the plateau of our life, how do I feel?... and from there she launches us to: "Look at the past with gratitude, Live the present with passion and face the future with hope”, in its dynamic A sincere, serene and very enriching sharing begins that will remain throughout the meeting on the part of all those present.
It continues with the words of the Father who invites us to "Polish the gold of our consecration..." Questioned from all a process (of gold), which makes us travel to the depths of ourselves and from here share experiences, difficulties, hopes.
Space for reading and personal reflection with “A question of personality: "I know who I am": Consecrated to whom and to what?; calls to the 4 “R”: Recover the Identity, Recover the Center. Jesus and his kingdom, Recover the Theological Virtues, Recover the life of the Poor, Virgin and Obedient Christ.
On Monday, December 5, we are accompanied by Sr. Teresa Gil STJ, who questions us: what question comes from our hearts? And she affirms: “only the questions make us take the next step”: The way in which Jesus is today?, How to help me choose the essential from the accessory?, how can we be more significant?…. She makes a journey from "the Mysticism of our Identity as Disciples of Jesus, Center of our consecration.", "Believer faith itinerary", and of course leaving new questions: How is God communicating with me? What learning do we celebrate? 3 peak moments in my history of relationship with Jesus? What nuance do I recognize in each moment? What do they say about my identity…? Contemplating Jesus is contemplating our identity: "An I more I than myself".
Tuesday 6, Sr. In the morning, Béatrice Ndour presents us with "A matter of care". She takes us on a tour of God's care for his People in Sacred Scripture and the culmination of his care in Jesus of Nazareth... the Magisterium of Pope Francis: Care for the earth , care for the family, care for human dignity... and care in our life, taking up what we worked on in the previous days, "the polishing and polishing of our consecration: Urged to adopt “Care as a way of existing in our consecrated life.”
In the afternoon to conclude the meeting: Bearers of a Blessing. Moment of meeting and dialogue with the BLESSING of our Father Founder, what happened that July 7 that is renewed by way of sending. The words of our Mother General describe this blessing "with the future ones", and she questions us: What brightness can this Blessing to our Being as Daughters of Christ the King? and 4 challenges, Be Signs of Happiness, Prophecy, Communion and Women attentive to God and the world. Next to the Father's room, in the museum, we pray grateful to the Lord for the way in which he has continued to guide the Institute and we ask that this blessing continue to spread through us.
Meeting, celebration, fraternity, grateful for this opportunity to our Institute, to the sisters of the government who have prepared it with such care and hope, to each of our communities and above all to the community of San Gregorio who welcomed us with such affection. and wakefulness House where the Passion of a Man resounds with such force, our founder, for Christ the King and his kingdom. And he transmits to us again his BLESSING.
