Christ reigns
On January 10, we had a meeting in which 23 young people from Latin America had registered, with the desire to let God "enter their house." Some of them had connection problems at the last minute and could not participate or did not reach the end, so they requested another date to be able to have the experience, so on January 24, the “second chance” was launched, to which Last minute participants also joined.
At the end of the guided prayer, in which they had allowed Jesus to enter "their house", the participants wrote in the chat a phrase with which they synthesized the experience, these were their expressions:
- "I'm here"
- Come in and stay forever
- I want to open the doors of my house
- Guide me
- Give way, to illuminate my life
- Lord it is necessary not to make you wait and let me love ...
- There are such unique words and one of them is Stay ... stay Lord, always stay and stay at all hours ...
- Today Lord, you have told me: Nothing of yours is foreign to me
- Lord come into my house, have dinner with me
- Beyond everything we can imagine, there is your love, Jesus, but how much do we keep it in mind? May we let ourselves be loved by you, Lord and put our sincere hearts and our contribution to the world.
- Because of you, Jesus, we never feel judged, but rather welcomed in your heart. You are the place where I always go out reinforced to DO GOOD.
- It helped me to travel with Jesus the places of my house and the dynamics as we went inside until we met Him
- It helped me to see that Jesus does not force the door of my heart, but that when I do not want to let him in and I have resistance, he is used to waiting at the door, until I freely want to open him, there was no pressure ... that's why I opened him
- Thank you for this beautiful meeting. All very nice and deep.
In the 2nd meeting, with 15 young people, they also left some expressions in the chat and others that were later sent by WhatsApp:
- “But you look at me, come in and stay forever, only then will my life change "
- I want to feel that in each step, you are
- When He comes in, it changes everything.
- Thank you Jesus for valuing my home and inviting me to OBSERVE AND THANK.
- Thank you very much Father for being that great friend who is always attentive and is very close.
- With you, Value my "home" and the "home" of others, let you live in it.
- Thank you Lord for calling me to meet you today, entering the depths of my life.
- Knowing my “home” and knowing how to CHANGE with the help of Jesus in my heart.
- Open the heart so that Jesus can stay in it.
- Thank you for this meeting because through your deep love you touch our hearts so that we continue to strengthen our faith
- Thank you very much to the HCR for making this encounter with the Lord very enjoyable. God bless the hearts of each one of you.
- I am very grateful that they called me to invite me to this meeting
- I am grateful that this encounter with God, guided by the HCR, has allowed me to feel that he is within each one of us, that he speaks to us every day, even if we don't realize it. Also, it has led me to want him to enter our life, to the depths of our hearts, where all our strengths and weaknesses are, everything.
- The encounter with the Lord inside my house has helped me to see which parts I need to strengthen, how also to be able to realize the things that I need to be able to speak and let go….
- God has wanted to tell me that: "Don't be afraid, trust me, I'm closer than you think." It has helped me to strengthen that confidence that Jesus invites us to do and not be discouraged in this walk. ?
- Thank you, little sisters, for having these meetings that help us draw closer to God
- I am delighted with these encounters and agradecida with the one above…. That gives me the opportunity to understand his word through his instruments… ..
In general, we highlight the good reception of these young people to what we HCR prepare. In these meetings, former students from Lima, Jaén, Colasay, Garín, Perico, Bogotá and Tunja participated, who have known us since they were little girls, however, there was also a good group of girls from the diocese of Latacunga and some from other parishes whose contact with us is very recent. It is a joy to see how the latter also welcome the expressions of Father Gras and our desire to May Christ reign in your hearts.
