They send us the echoes of a precious encounter. Let's enjoy…
On March 28 we met a group of young people from Ecuador. It was a very enriching space for life and faith. The motto of the meeting was "The question on which your life depends". It was Pope Francis who was guiding us, leading us to ask ourselves what are the fundamental questions that guide our lives and lead us to give the answer that we are looking for something more, Jesus of Nazareth. After reflecting on the issues of Cristo Vive 285 and 286, we enter an interactive museum where we can delve into contemporary Ecuadorian characters, such as the first Ecuadorian doctor Matilde Hidalgo Navarro, the young Dannise Tóala and the journalist Efraín Rúales, as well as biblical characters such as Pedro , the rich young man and Mary Magdalene, ending by turning us into statues and delving into that visit received from family, teachers, colleagues and friends, ending with the visit of Jesus, the teacher of full life.
We leave the review of Brisa Sánchez, a young man of 19 years.
On Sunday, the meeting that we shared was something incredible, since we were able to share some experiences and points of view. Something interesting in this meeting is that we were able to talk with more young people willing to follow Christ, this helped us a lot to know how to recognize ourselves, perhaps to ask ourselves in our day-to-day thinking. What does Christ want from me? is he calling me? Do we know ourselves?
Young people are presented with many doubts, these encounters help us to see and learn more about our interior and thus be able to feel reality, only in this way can we be attentive, willing and safe to the call of the Lord.
On the other hand, many of the times we tend to be deaf to the Lord's call, but why? We know well God calls us to be happy and because that is what we must do and fulfill it since God has created us to serve and not be served, the teaching that this encounter leaves in me today is that: We are for God, since he himself He was the one who put many qualities in us and not only that but charisma and gifts.
Young people, on many occasions, run the risk of basing ourselves more on our bad things than on our good, happy things or that can make us stronger, we rely more on the negative, and we must be vigilant.
Let's not lose our faith, let's be those statues that are firm, hard and resistant, but to the pain of everything that overwhelms us and makes us feel bad! .
Let's be that truth, above truths!
Let's be that heart in search of inexhaustible love! .
Let's find something else that gives us a reason!
In all this, Christ will be with us when we need him most, when we proclaim him with our true faith, he will be there listening to us and filling us with blessings.
Let's hear it…! He needs you, He needs me.
The simpler our works before others, the better the reward of our Christ.
