Christ reigns
On May 29, I was invited to share a PJV meeting with young people from Latin America and there we were able to reflect together on the meaning of the joyful mysteries of the rosary to enter meaningfully into these episodes of Mary's life and our own lives...
It was a very rich experience in which we shared what it means for us to say Yes like Mary and the profound content that that response can carry to God. With the Visitation we delve into what it means to be attentive to others, to go out to meet and serve for free. We remember that every Christmas God gives us the opportunity to remember and live fully what it means to “become flesh” and that moment of uncertainty for Mary where her “yes” begins to have “body.” We present before God our gifts, offering especially one of them in a grateful and simple way and we reflect on the importance of having our roots in God even if the world does not understand us, but when the storms of life come, they support us strongly because He never fails.
After our sharing, we left with an important task: to each make our own Joyful mysteries and share them. An encounter full of joy, faith and above all with the desire to seek our meaning, with Him and for Him, hand in hand with his mother, the best company we can have on this path. Thanks for everything.
