Talking about meeting again is already a reason for happiness, joy, hope, now when we think of meeting again from the same dream, from the same desires, putting our hearts, it is there where the word family becomes a reality, and that was the feeling who accompanied me throughout the sharing with those educators who, despite the physical distance, could feel close.
Now, there is no reunion without stories, without sharing our feelings and thoughts and from that we could experience, see each other as neighbors with our projects, fears, goals and rethink how we can continue betting on saying with our testimony that Christ reigns, how we can reach each family, each child with more strength and in this way be light for each one of them.

Each meeting generates hope and new dreams in my being. I share the ideal of forming a complete being, full of values. That is one of the ideals of the Institution and it fills my soul to know that the same “spark” is spread all over the world.

Being able to be that little light in the lives of our students, filled my soul. Reflecting on the difficult year we went through, but in the company of our dreams and with his help we have not only overcome it, but also had the strength to continue Doing Good, was motivating.

With more heart in the Encounter with Christ the King, we met last Saturday, November 6, 220 educators from the countries of Colombia, Argentina, Peru and Ecuador, where the hostesses were the Sisters. Daughters of Christ the King; We spent almost two and a half hours through the Zoom virtual platform.
It was very dynamic, through different video triggers and questions we were invited to reflect together, we also had the opportunity to meet in groups of teachers mixed by schools to get to know each other and talk about the meaning and value of the figure of the Neighbor for each one. We reaffirm our shared Mission as Catholic Educators, we strengthen our sense of belonging and we revalue the legacy of our Founding Father of making Christ reign forever in our hearts.

In these meetings one experiences the charism transmitted by the Daughters of Christ the King. You feel the communion of ideas, the same pleasure in teaching and accompanying the growth of children and young people, and the blessing of being able to work as a team, to be able to share decisions, agree, mediate. We are many educators with souls, for which I feel blessed.

Today's international meeting has been very significant, and knowing that we are the great Cristo Rey family, we thank God because we have been able to meet through technology and we managed to see each other from afar while feeling so close at the same time, and exchange experiences in our work that we feel as a vocation in the schools that the Daughters of Christ the King administer with a good heart and a great capacity for pastoral work. Hopefully not the last thanks and blessings.
