On February 17, the sisters in charge of the YYV in Africa met with Sister Rocío Pérez de Ayala, HCR, to reflect together on the path traveled since 2019 in the YYV of Africa. We were able to remember, from a bird's eye view, the echoes expressed in previous meetings (2019, 2021 and 2022), to compare them with the concerns we have today regarding the exciting mission of helping others discover God's call in their lives. Many of the concerns from then were repeated, while some aspects that seemed “new” to us in 2019 were already part, for the majority, of our way of dealing with this issue.
We score the 10 keys in PJVHCR and we end with the purpose of landing in concrete actions the desire to create spaces and moments in which young people can encounter the gaze of Jesus who loves them and calls them to follow him, knowing that we must work for it for free, since there is no greater reward than that of “putting the young person in contact with Jesus.”
