On March 1 and 2, the community of Dakar opened its doors to a group of 32 girls between 13 and 17 years old who reflected on their life, precious treasure, clay in the hands of the Lord.
Wanting to seek the will of God and with the desire to delve deeper into the meaning of their lives, we work on the text of Isaiah 64, 8 "Now then, Lord, You are our father; we are clay, and You are the one who formed us; so we are the work of Your hands."
Prayer, reflection, fraternal sharing and dance accompanied us this weekend prior to the Lenten season. Each aspirant had the opportunity to meet the King of Love who invites us to let ourselves be done by Him, to model our lives to be His instruments, His beloved daughters, “Daughters in the Son.”
Let us ask the God of hope to continue accompanying these new shoots and to continue calling many young women to consecrate themselves to Christ to make him reign in all hearts.
