On September 1, accompanied by some sisters from the Togo community, Marguerite Goudiaby, Pauline Ngom and Rose Ngom arrived in Benin, specifically in Paouignan, a small town in the Diocese of Dassa-Zoumé, where they will collaborate in diocesan educational works, and in the pastoral life of the parish of Our Lady of All Grace.
On September 5, at Sunday Eucharist they received a warm welcome from the parish community. On the 20th, with the opening of the school year, the collaboration of the sisters began in the diocesan school of Saint Joseph of Paouignan, an educational center with many needs at all levels. It is planned that we can also collaborate with the secondary school of the Dassa cathedral.
On the 28th they participated in the meeting of pastoral agents of the Diocese, called by Bishop Mgr François Gnonkhossou. It was an occasion to begin to know the life and the many challenges, especially in the educational field, of this young Diocese that houses the sanctuary of Our Lady of Peace in Arigbo.
On October 13, the Bishop visited the community, giving the sisters some presents and, above all, his support and closeness.
A new country to make Christ reign. We accompany the sisters with our prayers in this missionary experience. Good mission. Christ reigns!
