Christ reigns.
In these times that as humanity we had to live, before the fear and anguish of the disease, the hunger of our people was strongly noticeable in our Vicariate San Francisco Javier del Marañón - (Jaén- Peru). As a Church represented in the person of our Bishop Alfredo Vizcarra Morí, the “CRUZADA SOLIDARIA” was organized whose objective was to collect food to reach the most needy.
To support this proposal, we organized ourselves into groups, some to ask for donations from different benefactors, others from the collection place that was our Lord's Parish School of Huamantanga, assemble baskets, others register the most needy who did not even receive government help, and the strong mission was to bring aid to their homes.
Thanks to the solidarity of many people, this objective was made possible to reach more than 3,500 families in a state of vulnerability, making present the gesture of giving and sharing in the style of Jesus and as Father José Gras said "Good is multiplied by spreading it" until today donations continue to come to share with our brothers.
As Daughters of Christ the King, we have felt ourselves an outgoing Church together with our priests and sisters.
