Good grows by communicating it. The Daughters of Christ the King of El Carmen (Ecuador), we tell you here what we do in the face of the harsh reality that, worldwide, we are living:
1- The first thing is to pray enough for this pandemic that has caused so many deaths throughout the world.
2- Be aware of accepting the provisions given by the authorities for the good of all and avoiding contagions.
3- Share with the poorest brothers, part of what is ours, and thus have something to eat, get medicine and basic food for some families.
4- Collaborate with the Church of the Forty to be able to offer a breakfast to the poorest elderly, children and families. (40 people at km 40 and in the Popular Union 70 people, from Wednesday to Friday and Saturdays at these same people lunch). We share what little we have and we collaborate with the acquisition of some kitchen implements, for lacking everything. They either eat it on the street for breakfast and lunch or take it home in some tubs.
We thank people with a good heart and the Providence of God, who never ceases to make himself felt, therefore well received by the brothers and thus able to favor the most vulnerable families and the elderly who lack everything.
