During the weekend of April 5 to 7, 2024, a hundred and a half people gathered at one of the annual meetings organized by the Christ the King Apostolic Movement in Spain.
This year, joining the Pastoral motto “With you” the Coexistence “Operation With You”, took place in Villanueva del Arzobispo (Jaén), where Friends, Discoverers and Builders of the Kingdom of Albuñol (Granada), Benifaió (Valencia), Seville and three towns of the Diocese of Jaén, Villanueva del Arzobispo, Alcalá la Real and Jaén met.
On Saturday, the lay people of Cristo Rey worked through workshops that once again God shows us that everything is possible with Him. “With you movement”, “With you family”, “With yourself”, “With you José Gras”, with which the apostolic commitment that characterizes the Movement has been reinforced. During Saturday afternoon they worked “With you Jesus”, The stage of the youngest, the Friends of the Kingdom, visited the Virgin of Fuensanta with the company of the eldest Brother of the Brotherhood, who explained the story to them and showed them the Blessed One from very close quarters. Right there in the Sanctuary they had a prayer accompanied by songs in which they reflected on Psalm 27 and “The little parable of silence.” Meanwhile, the young Discoverers of the Kingdom had an Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at the Home School in the Villanovense town accompanied by the Community of the house, a very special encounter with the Risen Jesus during this Easter time.
On Sunday, concluding the topic “With you community” They actively participated in the Eucharist of the Parish of San Andrés, accompanying the Parish Community with readings and songs, where the Priest insisted on the importance of living the Faith in community and they renewed their Faith. The meeting ended at noon on Sunday with a Sending Prayer in which the participants were invited to continue being “Witnesses and Apostles” of everything they had experienced.
Now, revitalized after this meeting, We direct our enthusiasm in the work camp and the “Seven” camp, next summer.
