In an atmosphere of gratitude and hope, we celebrate this Eucharist in thanksgiving to God for the 149 years of life and mission of our HCR Institute. This significant commemoration marks the solemn opening of our jubilee year, a time of grace that we want to live with gratitude, with passion and with renewed hope.
This jubilee year is, above all, a privileged occasion to recognize the faithfulness of God throughout our history and to renew our commitment to announce the kingdom of Christ with joy and surrender. We do it with so many men and women, young people and children, and in a special way, together with the indigenous communities with whom we have shared, for eight years, the gift of our charisma.
We invoke with humility and faith the presence of the Holy Spirit in this time of celebration and renewal. May He illuminate our minds, strengthen our hearts and set us to live this encounter with God in depth. Let's open our spirit, so that guided by its light, we can welcome the word with joy and renew our missionary commitment with conviction.
