CELEBRATION OF THE IMMACULATE
On December 9, the celebration of the Immaculate Conception took place: each class remained in their class with the corresponding teacher, except for 1st year of Primary Education, who held the celebration in the chapel.
At 12:00 in the morning we all prayed the Angelus, a brief catechism was held and a very simple and beautiful prayer was said to the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception.
The little ones also made some beautiful drawings.
ADVENT AND CHRISTMAS
The Infant stage has celebrated Advent with great joy, because we are celebrating the birth of Jesus. We have begun by talking with the children about the 4 weeks that make up Advent and thanking Mary for being the mother of our King. We have worked on 4 values (sharing, helping, generosity and love), one for each week through the Advent wreath. We have represented the story of the angel Saint Gabriel announcing to Mary that she was going to be the mother of Jesus. And finally we talked about Christmas, decorating the classes with the Nativity scene. And as a craft, we have made the angel Saint Gabriel, who announces the arrival of our King Jesus.
In Primary, Advent and Christmas catechism has been carried out. Morning prayer with Genially to work on Advent, decorations in the class, Kahoot and crafts to work on these liturgical moments.
The students have remembered, by watching a video, the meaning of Advent and how we have to prepare for the Birth of the Messiah.
They have also colored a drawing of the Advent wreath, and on each of the candles, they have put a value related to the emotions and feelings that birth evokes in them.'
The activity has been carried out with enthusiasm and joy on the part of the students.
In Secondary: based on an Advent calendar, with a daily good work, we have shared the importance of not forgetting that the Kingdom of God is among us, in our neighbors. We have considered the need to actively keep the friend, family member or colleague present, especially in a Christmas as special as this year's due to the issue of the pandemic.
We have shared attitudes and actions to develop during Advent and holidays and we have seen the need for commitment in the family.
We have decorated the classes, with the participation of all the students.
