You seduced me Lord and I allowed myself to be seduced…
Yes, I bless you, Lord, for your infinite goodness, your immeasurable love and your benevolent pedagogy towards me.
The song I just sang was my motto during my vows on September 24, 1999: “You have seduced me Lord and I have allowed myself to be seduced.”
These words taken from the book of Jeremiah (Jer 20:7) say my entire vocation, except that over the years, the phrase has become: “You have seduced me, Lord, and you have helped me to let myself be seduced”, because life has shown me that it is the Lord who is at the helm of the boat of my life. Every day, He continues to seduce me, helping me to let myself be seduced, attracted by Him. This phrase confirms in me other words from Jn 15:16: "You did not choose me, but I chose you, and I have appointed that you go and bear fruit, and that your fruit remains; so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he will grant you.” I bless the Lord, who has sustained my fidelity to this day, as I celebrate these 25 years here with you.
My gratitude to the family that the Lord has given me, which has put me on the right path in life. Bless her Lord and fill her with your graces. If it were not for my family, I would not know this wonderful religious family of Daughters of Christ the King, in which the Lord called me to serve Him through my brothers and sisters.
Many thanks to the Institute of the Daughters of Christ the King, represented here by our Mother General, her council and by you, dear community of Santa Úrsula and Las Rozas. I know that everyone who is not here is thinking and praying for me. Thank you very much for the fraternity.
A sincere thank you to all the sisters who have made me discover and love the Institute since my first steps, to all those who have sincerely loved and helped me to this day, thank you very much. May our King help us to always return to our first love, to the enthusiasm of the first hours, especially when we encounter the hardness of the road. The memory of these first moments can help us arm ourselves with even more strength and, above all, enthusiasm in the wake of this King who, despite time, age and difficulties, does not stop loving us as in the first moment. or even more.
Thank you all very much for everything. Christ reigns
